Lasting Leaves

I was looking for a small travel iron today I did not find one, so if you would loan me one, I thank you. (Know ahead of time though that I tend to lose things). I went to Walmart to see if they had one and no they did not. Which was pretty good since I only had $10.00. Not finding the iron, I bought a birthday card for a daughter in-law, anti acids and band aids. It totaled $10.11. I had $10.00. The boy at checkout had a penny and looking around I saw an approachable young woman. "Could I possibly have a dime?" I asked. "I will never be able to pay it back because I might not ever see you again."

"Sure. And you are right, I might not ever see you." She said as she fished a quarter out of her purse. She did not have a dime.

When I gave her, her 15 cent change, I asked her name and that I would pray for her. She teared up and asked me to pray for her dog Trudy instead, who was dying. She put her head on my shoulder as I prayed for Trudy.

So I ask all my friends to pray for Trudy and it's owner. What an adventure the lack of 11 cents brings!!!
