Only Two Green Ones Left

There are only two green leaves left on my plant, God.  Grandma gave me my own plant for my bedroom and I put it on my shelf so I would be sure to always see it and water it when the dirt in the pot was dry.  But I forgot to look at the shelf and then I forgot to water my plant like Grandma told me to.  Now the leaves are all crinkly and brown – except for the two green ones.  After I told Grandma, she looked at my plant and said the reason the leaves are all brown and crinkly, except for the two green ones, is because there was no water in the dirt for the plant to feed its leaves.  I think Grandma knew I  was going to cry because my face was getting crinkly, like the leaves.  So Grandma said that the outside does not matter, just so there are good things inside, to make it grow, just like me.

Thank you God for putting good things in my plant and good things in me, to help us both grow.
